The Band Called ‘Collide’

Upon searching for new talent among the plethora of want-to-be industrial producers, I stumbled upon the band called Collide. Now they may not be just out of the garage or basement for that matter, but they aren’t exactly the most widely known either. From what I have heard, this band has potential.
Though some of their songs like Euphoria could use some more UMPH in the beat, it is still a fairly decent song to fall asleep to. It’s more ambient than anything else. That isn’t the only song that can be labeled more “ambient” than industrial. Their songs “Halo” and “Ocean” are prefect examples and great songs overall if you enjoy the more mellow side of industrial music which is, ambient. Now their songs “Transfer”, “Crushed”, and “Razor Sharp” are more geared toward that tantalizing synth beat that I personally bite my bottom lip to hear. Plus this band is most definitely into the Gothic genre… rawr.
As stated earlier, this band has great potential to bring more to the genre due to the already solid (though few) listeners, and a knack to give industrialists a beat they can truly feel in their core. I can’t wait to see what else this band has to offer and ultimately become a bigger name within the industrial pool, though; I do hope it’s soon.
