Krystal System and Alfa Matrix!

French electro/industrial act Krystal System (formally known as Krystal) has officially signed to Belgian label Alfa Matrix. The duo was formed in 2006 and has since won Best Song at the 2007 Cravefest Video Awards. Krystal System will perform at the Dark Castle Festival July 18th in Yvernailles, France, alongside groups such as Combichrist, UnterART and Tamtrum. The band is currently working on its debut album, ‘Underground.

Now if you have never heard any samples from this band you can always visit their music section on their official website: Krystal-System.com, or you can check out their Myspace Page and rock out there!

Their official site has a lyrics page as well! That’s always a plus since some industrial acts have very few pages and resources for listeners when it comes to figuring out exactly what they are saying. (Distorted Voices can be such a pain at times, but they sound for fricking cool.)

[syndika:zero] Signed With CrunchPod!

Sacramento, California’s [syndika:zero] crashed into the industrial scene in late 2006. Headed up by L1fg1v3r, [syndika:zero] rose from the ashes of his previous project (Victim: 1313) to produce their own brand of hard-nosed electro and idm that has been affectionately described as “Being pistol-whipped while a broken transistor radio plays Sinatra EXTREMELY loud”.

Puscifer - V is For Viagra: The Remixes

If you haven’t obtained a copy of Puscifers’ latest, then you are defiantly behind the times my friend. This CD isn’t jam packed with new material however, so don’t be expecting new and unheard songs.

The best way to describe this new album is by referring to Maynards now broken up band, A Perfect Circle. When he did the albums ‘A Motive‘ and ‘E Motive‘, everyone knew that they were just albums that complimented each other and that ‘E Motive‘ was more laid back than its predecessor.

Top 20 Industrial Bands. Voice Yourself!

Looking up news and info on industrial music is always surprising, and often, complicated. There are so many sites that say they are into industrial and the related genres and then they post music updates that hardly have anything related to the genre and sub-genre’s.

Quite annoying!

However, with that being said, I found a ‘Top 20 Bands’ post from the site known as Hellwire Industrial Music, and looking through their list I thought “Now I wonder how many people actually agree or disagree with this listing?”
