Leaether Strips’ April 11th Release of ‘Civil Disobedience’

by Ambient Decay on April 27th, 2008

The brutal Leaether Strip machine really doesn’t know how to “stop” and has again launched another “attack” with their latest upcoming album ‘Civil Disobedience‘. This album that is due to release on April 11th 2008, from the Alfa Matrix Label, is fully-loaded with the brand new hate, venom and frustration. That isn’t all however.

This new album is so true, so direct and so deep, that it can be heard as a forceful call for revolution, action and reaction for “fighting the system” and questioning the genuine sincerity of today’s leadership. Claus Larsen’s, the front-man of Leaether Strip, rise to fame-cult status is 100% the fruit of his uncompromising artistic attitude, which has brought him to where he is today as well as propel his dark soul as far as it has carried him. He’s done all of this without ever giving up ground to compromise or for any trend.

Civil Disobedience‘ is an impressive 3CD package revealing where Leaether Strip came from as well as where it stands present day. Even without their latest album due to release soon, many can shout that Leaether Strip stands amongst the leaders of dark underground industrial and electronic music.

This CD2 album also features an amazing cover-version of Die Krupp’s famous track “Machineries Of Joy“.

As Always, Here is A Fix
