“I want more Christmas Bands!” - Ask and Ye Shall Recieve!

I hear you crying out now that you want MORE MORE MORE BANDS.  Sheesh you slave drivers…  I’d be more than  happy to give you more bands for an office party.  Though, My fellow bloggers can do a better job than I can so here is what they have to say!

  • OurDigitalMusic - starts its eclectic list with Ozzy Ozbourne, but Leonard Cohen is invited too.
  • Crooner Culture - explains why the Rat Pack should be at every holiday party
  • 52 Bands - gives us a list of bands that would ’shake things up a bit’. I’m afraid to ask.
  • Metal Martyr - has a list of who he WOULDN’T invite and guess what, Lars Ulrich, you can stay home mate.
  • The Rock Dose - has Ozzy Osbourne on the list and I’m glad he does! After all, Ozzy is one of my favorite artists outside of the Industrial genre.
  • Hippie Sounds - what’s a party without some Hippies? (and what they might bring to the party…)
  • The Rock Dose - celebrates “Musicians To Bring To Your Holiday Party” ALL WEEK.
  • New Age Vibe – states that it isn’t a party until Yanni shows up. Now Yanni is a great pianist and such, but I don’t think he’d get along with most on my list haha. Course, it could be fun to watch.
  • Ear Sucker throws Lily Allen among others into the mix. There goes the party!
  • Check out the Good Musician’s list which includes the mood setting The Berliner Philharmoniker. (Who?)
  • Hip Hop Roll provides ‘instant party’ with a guest list add of a few select hip hoppers
  • Toronto Unplugged shows us that musicians, booze, ego’s and tunes can make any party better.
  • Oz music scene Has a lot of interesting bands, though most I’ve never had the insight to look into, but at just a glance, Lisa and Jess Origliasso are a very “Fine” pick!

So that brings this Band Party to a total of 120 bands, excluding my own! I hope this office is HUGE. Otherwise, I say we bring it down to the lobby and really tear stuff up! 

Enjoy these lists from all these fellow blogs and maybe you’ll come up with a certain Christmas CD based on this plethora of music.
