Well it’s Friday the 13th and I’m on the move. So far I’ve been up for so long I’ve lost count. Last time I checked it was 25 hours straight at 10’ O Clock in the morning. It’s now 3:23 pm EST. I’m almost there. 7:35 pm EST is the scheduled time of arrival. Any who, through out this whole ride, my favorite genre of music has been blaring from my iPod which is jacked into my head. Sounds like bliss, no? Hitching a ride, listening to the favored music, while you count the hours till you can see the one you love above all else.
Well that’s what I thought till I heard Atlas and Dead Stars 136 Times. YES I counted them since there is nothing else to do on a greyhound from
3:28. Dangit I want a Kool badly. Though, if I didn’t have any music, I would become clinically insane and probably start throwing bits of the seat beside me at the neighboring bus riders. Especially the jerk who insists on kick the back of my seat while “pretending” to talk on the phone. An interesting tid-bit: Mellow industrial songs are great for long hauls over the whole “Rah I’m Angry” and mind numbing “bizzz beee bump bump bump” of Synth-Pop.
I’ll end this post with a note that is rather quite spectacular or completely idiotic due to the lack of sleep. Depeche Modes’ – John The Revelator song matches perfectly to the lights found on that of
I’ll cut this insanity short and will post more relevant information when I get to my destination since the internet keeps messing up.
