Debut Album For Autodafeh/’Lust n Stone’ Release for Defile Des Ames!
On a quick note for the Swedish industrial act Autodafeh has announced its debut album, ‘Hunt for Glory‘, will be released in North America July 15th from Sigsaly Transmissions. You can check out more from this band at the Autodafeh Myspace Page (which their sound reminds me a lot of Combichrist and a few of their samples do sound the same, just a warning.)
Definitely check them out though and tell me what you guys think of them. It’s sweet that they were signed with Sigsaly Transmissions so quickly, but lets just see how long they are with this label first…
On some more news, this next album is described as: “The swirling sense of lust meets the hardness of stone on ‘Lust ‘n’ Stone‘”, and it just happens to be the child of industrial act, Defile Des Ames.
The music of Defile Des Ames is a blend of contrary elements: Violence & lyricism, atmosphere & rage, murder, purity, winds & mushrooms. Their traditional and classical instruments are accompanied by powerful percussions and the participation of the great Matt Howden (SIEBEN) gives a incomparable accent to the album. ‘Lust ‘n’ Stone‘ is a brilliant, dark Avant-Garde Folk album and after many years of live appearances and independent releases, here is finally the debut album of the Mediterranean Folk-gods Defile Des Ames.

Yes! The Autodafeh release is going to be a great one!
As for the comment about our label.. not sure what you are trying to say there friend??
I think you might be pleasantly surprised at what Sigsaly Transmissions has in store for you in the future!
As for Combichrist sound, I disagree. More of a F242 sound…

Heya Helosix!
I was simply saying that I wonder how long Autodafeh will be with Sigsaly Transmission. I mean it was a quick sign up and I’ve seen some other labels do that and then a few months later either drop a band or a band drops them. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t dissing either, I’m just hoping that kinda crap doesn’t happen.
I hate seeings labels do that to bands, but, it happens regardless. Plus, when Autodafeh gets bigger, will Metropolis-Records come into play? Who knows.
Yeah the sound does have a Front 242 lick to it, Way to add to it! Either way the music is very enjoyable and I look forward for more. Both Front 242 and Combichrist are top favorites for me so I love finding bands with similar sounds.
Thanks for the comment mate!
