Das Ich was formed in 1989 by Stefan Ackerman and Bruno Kramm; mixing many songs and giving the “apocalyptic eccentrics” bone rattling performances and ear melting lyrics. Having done many remixes from bands like, VNV Nation, In Strict Confidence, And One, and :Wumpscut, this band has what it takes. They have proven this with their unwavering presence in the industrial genre they love.
Partnered with Metropolis Records, Das Ich is preparing to release Alter Ego on July 10th 2007. After 20 years of adoring fans, rocking countless clubs, and multiple chart toppers, Alter Ego is the bands first “Best Of” album for North America. Featured with 15 tracks, this new addition will leave nothing out; just leave you with wanting to dance. The Tracklisting are as follows:
