Classical Tunes & Industrial

by User ImageAmbient Decay on February 29th, 2008

I’ve been listening to the band Shadows in the Dark much more lately. A few people have as me why; is it because they came out with a new CD?

no.

Well perhaps then I’m listening to them more because I need to “brush up” on my Shadows in the Dark savviness?

Wrong again.

Oh I know! It’s because I’m tired of listening to Combichrist.

That’s a big negative. Thanks for playing though…

The real reason

why I am listening to Shadows in the Dark a bit more is because I am amazed at their ability to produce music that ISN’T even in their genre. The song that I am referring to specifically is called “Heroic”.

It is a beautifully crafted piece of piano work, yet, will always leave you wanting more; and not just because it is only roughly 2 minutes in length. I noticed as well that upon the end of this song, Moonlight Sonata flows extremely well afterwards. Hell even before would work as well.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for the lulling tunes from a piano. Who knows. You should really get your hands on this track if you don’t already! You can find this succulent morsel on the Bestie Mensch album that was released in 2007. So it should still be fairly easy to find. If not Don’t forget the Industrial Addiction Store!

I know it’s there.

As Always, Here is A Fix.
