Blaqk Audio - The Love Letter
What could you see?
What could you find?
If we meet please avert your eyes.
What I’d never show, what you’ll never find
Is explosive so hide your eyes.
So hide your eyes…
What should mean nothing to you
Has left a poison running straight from your lips
And into (lead to) the poison I’m becoming.
Walk right through me, I’m not really there.
What could you see?
What could you find?
If we meet please avert your eyes.
What I’d never show, what you’ll never find
Is explosive so hide your eyes.
Once it meant something to me.
I find it rather stunning.
I draped it in cold and clarity.
It’s true, I find the look becoming.
Walk right through me, I’m not really there.
What could you see?
What could you find?
If we meet please avert your eyes.
What I’d never show, what you’ll never find
Is explosive so hide your eyes.
It’s a day, it’s a day, gone away.
Turn away from the day, it’s explosive.
It’s a day, it’s a day, gone away.
Turn away, turn away, from the day, it’s explosive.
What could you see?
What could you find?
If we meet please avert your eyes.
What I’d never show, what you’ll never find
Is explosive so hide your eyes.
Ahhh, Blaqk Audio. This band is become a quick addiction for my ears and mind. The singers’ voice is very smooth and his lyrics hold so much meaning not only in this song, The Love Letter, but in all of his songs from the recently released CexCells album.
This song could be taken as a person feeling as if they aren’t good enough for their lover but they are also afraid to show them how much they desire the other. Love can be complicated and at times it’s only that way since we tend to make it more complicated than it really is.
I suppose that’s one of the reasons why love is so intense when we do fall into it and the desired person feels the same. It’s so empowering and … explosive.
This song is not really an ‘upbeat’ song but it still can lift the spirits when needed. If you have heard this song before and do have a love, then when listening to this song remember the desire and overall empowerment of that feeling. You’ll be amazed on how the song turns from having a slightly depressing message to one that can possible intensify the love.
As Always, Here is A Fix.
